The AQ-RO3-R filters are intended for use as replacement cartridges with the OptimH2O® Reverse Osmosis Undersink water filter system. They have a rated capacity of 365 gallons (1,380 litres) and can last for up to 6 months once they have been activated.
The AQ-RO3-R filters work as part of the OptimH2O® Reverse Osmosis Undersink water filter system. They utilise a 3-stage filtration method to remove contaminants from drinking water. The stages used are Activated & Catalytic Carbon, Ion-Exchange and Sub-Micron Filtration. Together, this combination forces water under pressure through more than 2 million square feet (total surface area) of filtration media. The end result is water with reduced levels of Chlorine, Chloramine, Lead, Mercury, Pharmaceuticals, Pesticides, Herbicides and many other contaminants. Even the levels of dangerous bacteria such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia can be reduced.
In addition to reducing the levels of many different chemicals and contaminants, the AQ-RO3-R's Claryum filtration method reduces odour and improves the taste of drinking water. This is achieved while also preserving minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium, which are vital for growth, development and wellness. As a result of their s impressive filtration ability combined with the other filter elements of the OPTIMH2O Reverse Osmosis system, the AQ-RO3-R filters meet the NSF Certified Standards 42, 53, 58, 401 and P473.
The AQ-RO3-R filter cartridges are easy to replace and by following the recommended method it should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Each replacement cartridge set is provided with a set of instructions showing the fastest method to safely remove the old cartridges and install the new ones and no power tools are required to make the exchange.
This replacement filter set provides replacement cartridges for positions 1 and 3 of the OPTIMH2O Reverse Osmosis filter block.
