You can find the performance sheet here
In tests, it has been proven to effectively remove fluoride and significantly reduce the amount of 74 contaminants including organic chemicals such as herbicides and pesticides. Furthermore, the Aquasana OPTIMH2O Reverse Osmosis and Claryum Technology water filtration system is not only affordable but easy to install and maintain. Replacement cartridges are also affordable and easy to change and what’s more is that they are readily available.
First of all, the Aquasana OptimH2O water filtration system utilises reverse osmosis to remove any dissolved solids, such as fluoride and arsenic, that are smaller than 1 micron. Next the water passes through activated carbon to reduce the amount of herbicides, pesticides, volatile organic compounds and MTBE before passing through catalytic carbon which tackles chlorides and chloramines. The ion exchange filters out any heavy metals such as lead and mercury before the absolute sub-micron filtration stage, which captures any asbestos chlorine resistant cysts such as giardia and cryptosporidium. The final stage is remineralisation where minerals are replaced, improving pH and alkalinity.
The result is delicious and safe drinking water for the whole family. The Aquasana OPTIMH2O Reverse Osmosis and Claryum Technology water filtration system is even certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53, and 58.
